Hannah’s Magical Senior Session:
Dancing in the Rain and Finding the Sunshine

Say Hello to Hannah!!

Hannah was ready to GO ALL OUT with her Senior Portraits! She booked my Deluxe Collection including 2 hours and 4 outfits and every single one of them were FABULOUS!

During our Session Planning call, we envisioned an outdoor shoot in a beautiful location with wildflower fields, splashing in the river, and a stunning sunset. We spent so much time planning every detail, and she even rented the perfect dress just for this special occasion.

But then, our session week arrived…and so did the thunderstorms. (everyones worst nightmare)
We were so disappointed to have to reschedule - y’all have no idea. And of course, when we finally picked a new date, guess what? Rain was forecasted again! But this time, we decided - nothing is going to stop us! rain or shine - we’re making some magic!

On the day of the shoot, the clouds rolled in just as we arrived at the location and we reminded ourselves that we’re allowed to feel our feelings, dang it! So we vented about how fricking mad we were at mother nature, we wiped a few tears away, and decided - Instead of letting the rain dampen our spirits, we were going to embrace it. If we had to dance in the rain, then dance we would! Despite the sprinkles, we had an absolute blast!!!

Then, as if by magic, the clouds broke at the perfect time, and the sun peeked through, giving us a beautiful sunset over the water. The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined, and we are all absolutely in love with them!

This Senior Session is a reminder that a little rain can be magical. Sometimes, the most unexpected moments create the most beautiful memories. Hannah’s senior photos are proof that with a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace the unexpected, you can always find the beauty!
